Takes about 4 days for me to finish a novel nowdays so the most books I've read simultaneously would be 3. |

Posted - 19 Nov 2003 : 19:59:25 At the moment, i'm about halfway through The Lone Drow, halfway through Crown of Fire, somewhere in The Ring of Winter *snoooozzzzzzer*, about a third of the way through rereading Dissolution, and still reading the Underdark. I'm sure there are numerous others also but I can't recall those right now.

Posted - 16 Nov 2003 : 01:43:57 What a memory you've got there Cult Leader. Kinda like my younger brother, he remembers verses and scripts of movies and animae better than I. Must be alzhiemers, (dont think i spelt it right). Brains failing me on my old age, I'll need a wheelchair soon. |

Posted - 07 Nov 2003 : 02:56:37 I tend to only read one novel at a time, and I try to read complete series when it's possible. Just re-read the Return of the Archmages, am now reading the Best of the Realms.. will probably re-read the Clan War scrolls (from the Legend of the Five Rings product line) next. |

Posted - 04 Nov 2003 : 14:43:08 I do the same thing with game books. If you take notice I always say when I get home I shall check to look it up. And if Im wrong I will basically correct myself. All books I own its safe to say that I have read each one at least 5 times or more from front cover to back cover. Thats simple and easy. I can tell you every system from all the white wolf books I own (all $4000 worth). Not page numbers cut I do know the systems heh. I also know my 3rd and some 2nd. I never worked hard on 2nd and dont get to play it much anymore sorry to say and such.
Anyway thats what you get for like doing that. Hell the vampire novels I can tell you my fave char of all time, what he did etc. As well as go on a little bit about Drz., Black Rindel (a memtis born garou aka were wolf), as well as tell you word for word what was said on Ninja Scroll since I always watch that when I read. |

Posted - 04 Nov 2003 : 11:34:27 Geez Cult_Leader, I didn't want your whole life story. Just kidding. *Pats Cult_Leader on the head* I see you keep yourself busy. How do you manage to remember it all.
I just read one at work and two home and thats all the brain power I can muster to remember which parts of the book I was up to and what happened beforehand. Although I sometimes read the start of a series then try to keep myself occupied starting other series, while waiting for the rest of that series then loose track on what and where I was in a series. I know bad habit, well, patience is not one of my virtues. |

Posted - 03 Nov 2003 : 21:27:09 Well I don't prefer to read books at the same time I finish one and go to another. I think if I am not in hurry and trying to work on two related things I don't read more than one book. It is not hard to finish a novel in a day though |

Posted - 03 Nov 2003 : 15:00:46 Well lets see. In total, I read Exodus (that one fiction book about that war etc etc), the whole drow series, as well as 13 clan novels (vampires) from white wolf, and two of the tribe novels (weverwolfs), and two of the Hunter and Prey novels (from white wolf about hunters hunting werewolves and the other hunting vampires) all at the same time. I finished all save exodus on second week and exodus the third week. |

Posted - 30 Oct 2003 : 05:38:56 Huh...I did exactly the opposite. I originally puchased Cormyr on the way to work, and had read nearly half of the book during that first day. Needless to say, it was a slow-work day...

Posted - 27 Oct 2003 : 19:10:03 Reading more than one book at a time isnt a problem, I always have an FR novel on the go, as well as a computer reference book too. However, I once made the mistake of reading The Shattered Mask whilst at work (shhhh) and Cormyr: A Novel when I came home! VERY bad move, especially as Cormyr is quite a hard-going novel |

Posted - 26 Oct 2003 : 19:27:27 I read 3 at the same time once, I had to hurry. I used to read alot when I was in high school and many of them were historical, psychological researh stuff and ofcourse lots of dragonlance and tolkien. Realms recently started to be translated. Bad for us |
