i read 49 forgotten realms books and am about to finish mi 50th.
when i look at the books itīs sometimes hard to remember what happens in which book.

even if i donīt mess around with the stories itīs hard to remember which character plays a role in which storie.

itīs all the harder with the long series such as the drizzt books.

You should try the 2nd edition "Heroes Lorebook" or "Villains Lorebook". They have summaries of some of the novels.
The latter is available as a free download from Wizards site.
