First I must say that even though some things upset me in the Haunted Lands, it's still one of the greatest and most entertaining series I've ever read, be it FR or not. And I still give it 10 out 10 rating.

Now, to the topic. I don't really like that Byers killed all the other zulkirs (including Nevron, for who would have survived the Hells being a mane?). I like Szass Tam, and I like that Byers really made him almost godlike powerful. But killing all the other zulkirs is, for me, too much. Tam did not have to do that to show how powerful he had become. Lallara even asked him if she could "join" him.

The bitchLallara was such an interesting character to just slay.

In the book, it was not really said that Tam killed her, though the implication is apparent. But since it's not said, there could be some possibilities....

Did she possess another teleportation ring (other than what she gave to Aoth) that saved her in the last minute?

Did she plead Tam again and succeeded in convincing him that she'd be a valuable ally?

Mod Edit: Added a SPOILER tag to scroll title.

I'm glad I'm not the only one here who loves to see her again. I like evil (bitch) characters who have a twisted sense of humor. Some of my professors back in college were.

You mean who else among the zulkirs? Possibly Nevron, too, survived. Say, Szass Tam's spell that turned him to a mane wore out before Nevron got devoured by other demons in the hells and that he managed to return to Faerun. Perhaps Yaphyll, too, since she vanished in Undead. She could have hauled herself to the future as she was able to tap the Weave's erratic energy during the spellplauge and hid herself right after in a far away realm.

Sure, Sage.

Dennis, it's usually good practice that scrolls dealing with the content of recent novels contain SPOILER identification tags in their titles. This is to prevent scribes who haven't read the novels from unexpectedly learning what happens in them when they read your scroll.

Please ensure you maintain this method in the future. Thank you.
