So far so good....It;s hard to beat a good pirate story...and this is shaping up to be a nice one.

I like Geren...he is far from perfect and nothing seems to come easy for him, so he is easy to be for him. Also good for him id the flirtation with the Sokol lady.....always got a feeling he would end up with Mirya....but this new lass has at least got his attention from sulking of his lost Elven love....also enjoy the ghostwise halfling ( he is well done), the Teifling Sorcerer and the Dwarven Sailing Master.(who seems to be more than he is)

And a trip to Zhentil Keep?? Very nice....just starting that, and looking forward to what is had declined into.

I'm sure she'd like to think so.

Poor Lady K Maybe she needs to read it first so she can daydream about an organized study I sure she would like s this book as well!

I'll have you know that I don't have any problems in THAT department!

Altough it mentioned that his workshop is neat and organized, which strikes me as Anti-Sagified
That's definitely on the mark.

It was only yesterday that the Lady K remarked that she needed some kind of map to weave through the "stacks, papers, books, and other detritus" sitting in my library.

I'm sure you will enjoy the book and the characters.

This is a good series.

I am eagerly waiting for Avenger.

Then Rich needs to do a backdrop article for the Moonsea Region.

And another trilogy!

But I cannot understand why Geren would leave that ship and the two "starry compasses" behind.

Whoops! Sorry Red, but I got this mixed up with Avenger, the third book of the trilogy. I do have a paperback copy of Corsair. I just simply haven't had a chance to read it yet.

[Mark it on your calendar folks, I was actually wrong about something. ]

I know the Lady K will want to know it what ways Sarth reminds you of me...

But in a moment of seriousness...its mostly his quick one liners. Short and to the point. And he is always at hand when needed.

Altough it mentioned that his workshop is neat and organized, which strikes me as Anti-Sagified

Really enjoying this one...

I like Sarth (tiefling sorcerer) and Hamil( ghostwise halfling) more as the story develops. I saw the "flying"irate ship coming....but had not clue they would be going to one of Selunes tears for their hideout. Very cool! Only thing so far I dont love....Sergen's "uncertain" ending.....but that is what book 3 is for in a trilogy!

Oh yeah...and the Dwarven sailing master who I thought was "more than he seemed".....not so much.

Neato!

Unfortunately, given my current financial focus, I'll likely have to wait until Corsair is released in paperback before I can read it.

I wished Zhentil Keep had been explored more, but I understand why they weren't there long. Hopefully we learn more about it someday.

And How about that call back to Gamelon and his "flying ship"!! Great stuff there! Im sure The Sage will salivate over that page when he reads it. And I would imagine it will bring a bittersweet smile to Steven Schend's face as well! It good to see this book well grounded in Realmslore from the past.
