he is just the coolest god on the evil side i would say, the onley problem is that he is having problems abut co existing with other evil gods i wish they would change that |

I think it could work if the just drop old grudges and a am not sure but wasent mask the servant of cyric, when mask did read that book that cyric wrote ??? and i think that a alliance of cyric and mask would be fun |

I think the evil gods should work togheter, some of them that is like Cyric and mask i think those make a funney and cool team bane should be togheter with them, then there could be some cool storys, (they would lose but what a book that would have ben) jokes and stuf like that i think should be taken inn to the storys to |

I think if there were more Lawful Evil gods like Bane evil would be able to unite (some of the time; normal rules for backstabbing tyrants still apply), however since most major evil powers are Choatic in nature there is no chance they will ally with anyone, evil, good, neutral, whatever. |

Agreed...in fact that is probably the one thing most of the evil aligned deities of the Realms have in common - their inability to organise and present a united threat to the gods of good.

Does not mean Shar will not be incredibly mad that he's trying, regardless of his motivations. Like all evil gods, it herself she cares about and if Cyric tries yto steal anything from her she will go nuts. |

I have a meandering theory that Cyric's desire to wield the Shadow Weave has more to do with his feud with Mystra than anything else...he probably wants to have something completely in opposition to all that is Mystra at his control. |

Unless you have diverged from canonized material here, Mystra is a Neutral Good deity, which means "Good" and "Evil" apply here.

That would be unlikely any time soon, since in his brief period of godhood Cyric has managed to backstab or irritate almost every major evil god with varying degrees of success. Not to mention he gained much of his current power by murdering others gods, which seems to make one unpopular with most every other god in the pantheon.
Granted, Cyric is no longer insane, but his nature is one that is inherantly debilitating when it comes to forming alliances. Even sane, he wants to become the ultimate power in the cosmos, a goal that was shared by his predecessors, Bane and Myrkul.
Recent history has put Cyric directly in opposition to Shar and Bane; Bane because he stole Tyranny from Cyric (well, more accurately stole back) and Shar because, as Return of the Archwizards shows, Cyric desires to 'appropriate' the Shadow Weave. So, Cyric is not likely to ally himself with any other evil powers anytime soon, at least that what recent events have shown. |
