Anyone read the 3 that are out so far?

I loved all 3. I think that the next one is going to be great too. Plenty of suspense and plot twists.

Well, when you consider what both Cyric and Lolth stand for, yeah I don't think Cyric would ever do something like that to his followers. Lolth on the other hand, is the epitomy of chaos. She thrives on it for crying out loud, so what she's done fits her perfectly. It may not benefit her followers, but it will benefit her in some way in the end, you can be sure.

Bha there are so maney books abut the dark elfs, sure they where fun to read but come one there are just to maney books abut them. and loth is the most stupid of all the evil goods, cyric would never even do something like this to his follower and what loth does aint that going to be good to her followers to.i say death to all dark elfs and there god loth

Right... the social intrigue and deception of the race is quite a thing to read. All Matrons have there conections. The great thing about these books is that you never know who is who , or who is a traitor...

Yes, I've read all three and found them to contain some of the coolest plot twists and characters I've read in a fantasy series. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

All I can say is Where in the Abyss is Lolth?

As far as the over abundance of Drow elves, shall I book a white room for you Edain?

I for one can't get enough of the race. If you see my avatar , I'm sure that comes as a big surprise, huh? I'll continue to buy the novels and supplements so long as the quality of them remains as it has been. Pretty damn good, so far.

I have to agree that I'd like to see something else, besides Drow, though. Their saturation factor is about to hit critical.

I have read all three of the currently released War of the Spider Queen books, and I agree that they are all very well written. Personally one thing that has impressed me is how the different authors have managed to thus far maintain a sort of continuity, in that I mean that the three currently released books seem to bear similar writting styles which allow the books to flow effectively from one to other in a most enjoyable way. In general, the authors have also proved impressive at writting interesting books which follow establish D&D/FR dogma without making the book cluttered or uninteresting.

However, while I do find them enjoyable, my tolerance from Drow Elves is growing thin. At this point any more Drow and I will probably go insane. As much as we all love the Dark Elves, I think Wizards should perhaps try to branch out just a little bit, before the turn a popular subject into something less profitable. It's kinda like Star Wars Episode I and II, in that they just shoulda let it end with the orignal three, but went and made more and it just soured a lot of people on the franchise.
