Posted - 24 Jan 2009 : 02:41:37 Ive recently noticed starting in the prologue of the latest drizzt series and in nearly all of the latest novels ive read, that they're all set 100 years later than previous novels. does anyone know if this is going to be the norm from now on?

Most Realms novels now, are specifically set after the events of the Spellplague and into the 1479 DR era -- as we've seen with the recently released novels of the "Ed Greenwood Presents Waterdeep" series, and Rich Baker's Swordmage. Occasionally though, some authors might decide to provide some details on events that occured between 1375 DR and 1479 DR, such as Steven Schend in Blackstaff Tower for example. |
