Posted - 03 Dec 2008 : 07:33:06 So I'm a big fan of Salvatore and I finished reading "The Two Swords" After that I went onto read "The Orc King" and was extremely confused. It seems there was a 100 year gap between the two where something catastrophic happened in the world. What book/books should I read to catch up?
Thanks for all the help!! |

Since you said you were a big Salvatore fan, I am going to second what Richard said and say read his books, you will love them too!
I will always be a big fan of RA, but I tend to like grittier stuff and Richard's Trilogy based on Thay (Unclean, Undead and the still to be released Unholy) is great stuff! |

That's correct. The rest of the novel is set in the "present" (1372 or so). |

There are tons of scrolls here that address the timejump, but no novels that detail it.
Just search spellplague and check those threads and you will get caught up. |
