Almost finished with the 8 books(Avatar Series 1-5, Shadow of Avatar Trilogy) and I'm looking to get into the short stories before heading into my next set of books, which will probably be Twilight Giants trilogy by Troy Denning, but undecided...input?
I looked at another thread that looked like it was meant to be a guide for the "Realms of" / "Best of" books, but it was somewhat incomplete although I did manage to discover one story that involves Adon: "Curse of Tegea" in Realms of Valor
[EDIT:] Added some clarification to the 8 books I was referring to, sorry for the mix up :) |

I assume hawktom is including the Shadow of the Avatar trilogy in his eight.
Ah, I see that now. |

I assume hawktom is including the Shadow of the Avatar trilogy in his eight. It centers less on Elminster than on the impromptu adventuring band of Sharantyr of the Knights of Myth Drannor and the two Harpers Itharr and Belkram. It shows effects and consequences of the Godswar away from its central battles, and provides our best sustained up-close look at the Dales.
The three FRE-series modules that Ed wrote likewise allude to many more goings-on across Faerūn, back when Realms materials included current clack and weren't galloping blinkered into the future and over the cliff. |

I just cannot remeber any short stories that deal with that besides the one you mention. Seems the way I remember the TOT it was just the avatar trilogy and Bam its over, time to move on. |
