Well met

So after we've visited The Dungeons and The Citadels in FR novels, it looks like we're off to The Wilds:

As long as it isn't "Wilds from the Sea!" I will give it a shot!

Just around the corner

Any thoughts on what the Fanged Crown is?

A crown with fangs, most likely.

Bad hamster!

I am going to guess that it is a crown of some power that once is put on cannot be removed. Thus the fangs!

And for what it's worth, I wasn't ignoring the topic, exactly. I was just trying to annoy Wooly.

In contested quote, "Realmspace sourcebook" could be a supplement about Realmspace but bearing a different name, or it could be named Realmspace. Scribes unfamiliar with Spelljammer material would not necessarily understand that we spoke of the latter option, and not the former. So there.

So where?

Anyways, since the scribe in question also noted that the spelljammer.org site offered info to support material referenced in the earlier noted source, it's likely that most scribes would come to realise that he was referring to an actual SPELLJAMMER supplement, or at least make the connection after viewing the site mentioned.

Ah, but whoever that mystery scribe was, he didn't italicize the title, which could imply that the word "Realmspace" was simply the subject matter, and not necessarily the title.
Actually, you'll note that the scribe in question said "Realmspace sourcebook." So, there was never any doubt that he was referring to anything other than a particular source for information.

...Which is rather odd, actually. The illusion survived the Time of Troubles and the death of its creator. And we know the Sellplague flowed around areas with intense magic, leaving them mostly untouched (unless it blew them up). So it's not entirely logical that the illusion should suddenly fail.

Since when is anything about the Spellplague logical?

since like never

some spelljammer books.

Specifically, SJR2 Realmspace. I like it as a Spelljammer supplement, but I find most of the Toril-specific info it contains to be questionable...

logic doesn't necessarily have a firm hold on the 4-gotten realms

I'll also note that an illusion crafted by Leira herself once made the moon appear to be a barren rock, hiding the actual landscape. I say "once made" because, with the death of Leira, and from apparent details in the "Countdown to the Realms" articles, we now know the illusion has fallen.

Indeed, there are people living on Selune.

Among them... humans, elves, and a significant settlement of Leiran faithful. Actually, they'd likely former faithful now given her 'dead' status. There are other races also. See the Realmspace sourcebook and the details for Selune at the spelljammer.org website.
