Depths was my overwhelming #1
#2 was Unclean and Best of Elaine
#4 was Gossamer Plains - Love the two main characters!
#5 Sacrifice of the Widow -
#6 Scream of Stone - Phyrea literally made me Scream NOOOOOOO!!!!

-Best of the Realms III got my vote.
MerrikCale Posted - 28 Jun 2008 : 22:25:32
I have to disagree. I very much enjoyed Depths and voted for it as the clear winner IMHO. I like Twilight (coolest name going). I liked the elf cleric and the introduction of the warlock and goliath to the Realms

I just didn't like any of the "heroes" at all. They were completely self-absorbed. And slightly cliched.

I'm curious... Any particular reason why you felt that way about Depths of Madness, Dan?
danbuter Posted - 28 Jun 2008 : 02:08:28
The only book of these I read was Depths of Madness, and it was godawful. It is one of only 3 books in my life that I could not finish. The characters were so unsympathetic I wanted them to die horribly.

And me, I voted for Elaine.

Depths of Madness by Erik Scott de Bie

From those listed, I've only read Depths of Madness and Best of the Realms III. My vote goes to both!

I picked Depths of Madness.
Dart Ambermoon Posted - 26 May 2008 : 18:17:26
Unclean, with Gossamer Plains a close second.
scererar Posted - 26 May 2008 : 14:41:11
Of the choices presented, I have only read two of them. Unclean and gossamer plain. of those 2 I enjoyed unclean a bit more, but both were great IMO.

Only read one of those, started to read a couple others ones but reading isn't at the top of my list now.
Ergdusch Posted - 26 May 2008 : 10:36:26
I have not read a single one of those.

I have to do some catching up again, it seems...
