Posted - 20 Feb 2008 : 01:20:14 I've a few questions that relate to this particular short story -
* Firstly, does the author (Jessica Beaven I believe) post here at the Keep?
* Secondly, who was this "Chever" character?
* Thirdly, what were his notes and what were they research about?
... ... ...
I'd appreciate canon info, though I'm willing to take educated guesses and personal speculation.

Actually, it was all Jamallo's fault. He's been talking about Opus a lot lately. Thus, it reminded me of this scroll.

Okay Sage, so why did it take you so long to answer that?
It prolly had something to do with his now-mythic to-do list. According to rumor, some major industrialized nations have tax codes that are shorter than his to-do list. |

Chever was the Arcanist responsible for the creation of the Opus/Selūnarra enclave. You can learn more about him in the Netheril boxed set.

Other than what was referenced in his notes during the story, you can learn a little about Chever's studies in the Netheril boxed set.

Of course, if you receive a reply you can also share with us here at Candlekeep, it would be much appreciated. |
