Does anyone know if the CotSQ minatures box got released? I havent seen it advertised anywhere or in any stores (although that doesnt mean anything! ).

If so, how do you rate it?

Well I finally managed to locate the CotSQ minatures box set in my local hobby store! I cant say im that impressed by it. Im not really a fan of minatures though so maybe I was expecting too much. The minatures were much smaller than I imagined theyd be, I remember the old Ral Partha minatures which I think were a bit larger scale (unless it was actually a mountain giant minature I picked up back then )

Still, there was a Forgotten Realms logo on the box, so I had no choice but to get it

Don't know about the CotSQ minatures. I remember seeing the announcement, and that's it.

The D&D line of miniatures in general... not too bad, I've seen worse (the current Middle Earth minis). There is enough detail, though some of the weapons seem to tend to lean a little towards the warhammer extremes... i.e. big-ugly and unwieldy weapons in an almost comic style appearance... I prefer the minis to look as 'realistic' as possible.

<remembers a big box of unpainted and hafl-finished minis somewhere iin the US...>
