Speaking of errata.... Is any one else sort of annoyed that we only have errata for the FRCS and Magic of Faerun? Yes I know there are "updates" in the Player's Guide but come on, there are eight other 3/3.5 FR products out there that are NOT error free. We haven't had a errata update, from WOTC, in over two years for FR products!

Dragon? They put errata out in an unofficial source?

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Yes, but I think the FR lore conflicts are never going to be addressed outside of something like Richard Baker's thread on the WOTC boards or when a new product tackles a certain subject.

Which is why it used to come out in Dragon... but wait that wasn't "official" according to some posters. :)

Ahh, the good ole' days, when you had to by the next expansion in order to get the errata in the back of the book for the last one. If you didn't have the first book, you almost couldn't help but read through the impressive list of errata for a source you were completely unfamiliar with and try to piece together what the heck they are fixing.

I understand those feelings. However, I could flip it around and say a hypothetical company is spoiled in that it's secure in the knowledge that fans will purchase its gaming products no matter the amount of errors that are within each book.

I don't know about that. Since errata only appears on the WotC website, online fans are the only ones that would have access to the errata anyway.

Maybe, but it's pretty sloppy when there are glaring errors in FR lore as well as spelling mistakes that are not being updated with errata.....

It's kind of sad. Someone who wished to undertake a heroic task could probably compile a pretty comprehensive errata by cataloging the various answers in the "Ask Rich Baker" thread.

I don't know it just seems annoying that there isn't more official errata except for the FRCS and Magic of Faerun....

Yes, I understand your frustration. I just don't think the situation will change. Products from WOTC and D20 companies will continue to be published with errors and long delayed errata (or none at all) until consumers stop buying such products. And that possibility isn't going to happen any time soon.
