I just read thru the Vault of the Dracolich adventure... And it irks me, because they seriously changed Dretchroyaster's backstory for no readily apparent reason. This adventure puts his lair underground, and located where an elven ship was buried thousands of years before... Previously, his lair was in a glade where an elven spelljammer crashed during the Weeping War -- and the Cult had specifically encouraged him to settle there.
Putting him underground and living in what is a Cult base of operations is a change from prior canon, and on a personal note, it invalidates a good chunk of the backstory for elfbane golems, one of my versions of Realmsified warforged. |

Well thats one adventure i wont be purchasing then. If it doesnt add anything new and invalidates all the old interesting stuff then it's not for me.
Bad sign of things to come or hopefully just a one of mistake |
