For those of you who haven't, read this novel! For those who have, but have not re-read it in a few years, do so again. This is by far one of the best novels set in the Forgotten Realms to see print, ever. If you are at all familiar with the main characters, Danilo, Arilyn, Elaith, etc. then you already know what great characters these are. For those who don't, this is one of those, 'that started it all' stories that will explain so much about the world of Faerun.

Elaine, this was one of the earliest novels I read set in the Realms, and much of what you introduce I forgot. Much of what I did not know, you talk about, but at one time went well over my head. This is one book I am glad to have reread after about ten years. The characters are very well established, and have changed little over the course of that time in every way they should not. Same character, attitude, and style.
