The writing is still technically good, even though I am only really reading for the parts concerning Raidon, Kiril and Gage. I liked the little flashbacks to Darkvision, but felt the sudden (second) attack/battle between the Knights and the wood elves was a little disjointed in Chapter 12, even if it was foreshadowed in the previous chapter. |

As I said before, I really am getting into this novel. The characters are great, and overall Mr. Cordell is a fine writer. I kind of know where the intrigue involving Telarian is going, but I'm enjoying that plot nonetheless. |
