Margaret Weis Productions is going to have a Dragons of Krynn book coming out (apparently the "of Faerun" books have had a bit of an impact on other settings, since SP is putting out a Races of Ansalon as well), and she stated on the DragonLance Boards that none other than our own Ed Greenwood will be contributing an essay on dragons for that book.

Just thought I would share this little bit of news, and perhaps entice the lovely THO to share anything that she can legally share . . .

Aye... that's what I'd heard.

As I recall, it's also part of the reason for the delay regarding Ed's Castlemourn.

Lots of art planned and some other cool things. We've invited some long-time DL novelists to write essays on dragons, either those they've written about themselves or just thoughts on dragons in general. And our friend, Ed Greenwood, is also going to write a piece!

We'll keep you posted.

Margaret

So the post is from today. Earlier in the thread Margaret mentioned that Margaret Weis Productions would be doing this book, and it was asked if this meant from now on DL gaming books would come from MWP instead of SP. She hasn't answered yet, but this might have something to do with the stalling, or perhaps not.

Indeed. I was going to mention this in Ed's scroll once we had a little more info...

Last I heard though... the work on DoK had stalled. Do you have an update on that KEJR?
