Posted - 25 Dec 2009 : 05:54:14 anyone know if there is a feat in the D&D system, either WOTC or off brand, that is similar to the feat in Conan (published by Mongoose) that ups the dice of sneak attack. They have a feat that increases sneak attack dice from 1d6 to 1d8. Also, anyone know if there are any D&D, off brand or WOTC, that give you extra sneak attack damage? Any other strong rogue feats would be helpful, if anyone has ideas.
Figured this would be the right forum to post this in. Thanks for any help. |

Thanks Dif, I do appreciate the help. What books are Shadow Stalker and Fade into Violence in?
No problem. I believe they're both in the Player's Handbook 2. Also, that distracting attack feature doesn't replace sneak attack damage unless you want it to, just for clairification.

Pathfinder Rogues have Rogue Talents that can add special damage to sneak attacks.
Yeah I love how Pathfinder re-did the rogue class. Really makes me want to convert mine to it's system since we're using the campaign setting anyways lol. |

Off the top of my head I can think of 2 feats that are usually a must for a rogue.
Combat Expertise Improved Feint
There is a feat that allows you to add your Sneak Attack damage to critical hits but I'm away from my books at the second. When I get home, I'll post a slew of good rogue feats that can help out a character. If you employ the Tome of Battle, the one stance Island of Blades give you the flanking abiity when your adjacent to the enemy and an ally and it's a constant effect.
Edit: Just found the feat, Telling Blow allows you to add your Sneak Attack to critical hits. Also, I'd suggest taking the Alternate Class Feature (ACF) of distracting attack (i think that's what its called) from the Player's Handbook 2. It allows you to implement penalties to creature's AC instead of dealing sneak attack damage. The good thing about this feature is that it affects anyone, even creatures who wouldn't be subjected to your Sneak Attack. You do lose Uncanny dodge until later in your progression as a rogue but it's nice to have options against undead, constructs, oozes, etc.
Also, Weapon Finesse, Fade into Violence, and Shadow Stalker are good feats for a rogue too.
