Good afternoon all. It is an honor and a priviledge to be here. A few about myself.
I have been playing roleplaying games since 1980 (old school D&D person here) and currently do a Forgotten Realms campaign with the 3.5 rules. Last year I came back out of hiatus to start a 2nd ed. campaign in FR, then picked up the 3rd ed. rules of which my gaming group loves now. ALL my games are in Forgotten Realms, period!
I have been lurking for a few months here, but hope to contribute with as much (or little) knowledge I can muster when it is applied to the proper thread. I do say that it is quite exciting to see actual authors of the many Forgotten Realms books post here for their fans. I would love to thank all of them for the countless hours of pleasurable reading.
Again, thank you all who contribute to this extensive database, and the people behind the scenes who maintain it. This is absolutely THE place to be on the web for any Forgotten Realms information!

You will find a lot of OLD SCHOOL gamers who have been playing for some years here at the keep. I myself was playing back in the Mid Eighties.............OH My God that's .... well a long time!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
