I am Günther from Cologne, Germany. I DM a group which unfortunately is very hesitant to delve into the rich history of the realms (i.e. they prefer simple hack and slash ). I play in another group consisting of real FR fanatics.
My first contact with the FR was a short while after buing the PH: the first light-grey box. That was also when I started to read FR novels. Novel reading got replaced more and more by source book reading, but I am aware that there are still a lot of spots left unexplored (or their descriptions being hidden in libraries like this one ).
So I am here in order to improve my knowledge, currently especially about the Silver Marches area.
Looking forward to reading you, Günther |

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
