Posted - 17 Apr 2006 : 02:18:38 What was the last D&D/FR source or sourcebook you read or referenced, and why? I'm interested in the answers, but this is an extremely easy question to spam up, so it's here so it won't lead to artificial inflation of people's post counts.
As for me, I was just looking up how metapsionic feats worked according to the 3.0 psionics system, of all things, to check a point someone made over on the WotC boards. |

Posted - 04 Jul 2006 : 15:27:44 I was looking through Underdark hoping to find an example of an orog enclave for my Menzo campaign. But of course that was a no go. The last book that actually helped me was Monster Mythlogy for the same campaign for the derro deities Diirinka and Diinkarazan for a campaign arc that I hope my players will latch onto. |

Posted - 04 Jul 2006 : 14:09:27 I looked through Lords of Darkness, 'cause I am working on the end plot of my long FR Campaign. The players have to face off against the cult of the Dragon and its leader Sammaster. Besodes reading the cult of the Dragon entry once again I took a closer look at the stats of Larloch as an example for a very powerful lich.

The Silver Marches has been my constant companion as I'm presently running a campaign there. As the current foil for my players are twin male/female incestuous demon worshippers (hope that isn't too risque for this site!) I've also been making my way through the Hordes of the Abyss supplement. Fun! Now how else can I confuse the heck out of my players?
Maybe. Now think about this. Twin male/female incestuous demon worshippers throwing really sweet rave in the abyss.

Posted - 04 Jul 2006 : 03:04:35 Monsters of Faerun - looking up archliches. Been mostly sticking my nose in the FRCS over indexing it for the indexing project I am trying to get off the ground. I know i will be digging into Cormyr and Cult of the Dragon soon in prepping for a library game I help out with.

Posted - 03 Jul 2006 : 11:29:39 I thought I'd bump this old topic and say that the last thing I looked up was in Magic of Faerun, I believe it had something to do with that pesky Magister title. |

Though another similar-styled sourcebook dealing with other mundane Realms issues would make a fine addition.

As for the last sourcebook I sorta read, it was Power of Faerun. :) I really need to read through the 3/3.5e FR sourcebooks, but something makes me zone out when I do, unlike the 1e and 2e lore. It's the strangest thing......
I know I've said that once or twice myself...
Though I must admit... Power of Faerun was the first 3e FR sourcebook, in a long time, that I read all the way through.
Ditto for me to, I found so much info and ideas just kept popping up as I read it. I've waited for a book like this for FR for years. I just wish it could have been longer. :( |

Posted - 19 Apr 2006 : 05:20:02 I'm flipping through Champions of Valor at a leisurely rate and enjoying it quite a bit, especially the stuff on Impiltur.
Recently searched through Expanded Psionics Handbook for the Psionic Weapon feat chain and relevant related topics. Working that into my revision of the Blade Kingdoms. It should be a way to keep the area very low psionics and differentiate the swordsmanship of the scarce Jhaamdathan remnants.
I also checked out the revised Psionic Weapon Master PrC from the Mind's Eye articles on the WotC/D&D site; found that rather appealing. |

The day before that I looked at Dragon Annual #2, Secrets of the Magister, The Seven Sisters, PH and DMG.

Posted - 17 Apr 2006 : 03:51:50 Okay, I just had to reference another Realms book: City of Splendors: Waterdeep.
I was about to post a question about a 2E spell, wondering if it had been flipped to 3E. I decided to Google it, and one of the hits listed the new name of the spell, which led me to look in that sourcebook for it. The spell had been flipped, but now I've got a question in Eric's queue about it. |

Posted - 17 Apr 2006 : 03:25:12 Hello-
I recently finished up w/ Power of Faerun.
However - the last thing I referenced was either the 3rd FRCS, or Faiths & Avatars - as they are both right at the top of the 'recently accessed and need to be put away or looked at again' pile.
As an aside - I printed up the Grand History of the Realms yesterday too - so I glanced at parts of that out of curiosity also.
