It's such an honor to be here! *hands over an original Netheril religeous text* Anyhoo, I've been a moderate Realms fan for years, and so after my lovely friend Winterfox referred to this place once I decided to come and check it out--get some tabletop advice, chat about how alignment is a ridiculous black-and-white system of ethics, roleplay a bit, the usual. I hope to get to know y'all and have fun here in the coming months, so... hi there!

Welcome indeed Miss Ex-Drow (and apologies if it's Mrs Ex-Drow). Let's hope you'll enjoy your stay at the Keep (and may your robes not itch too much). Also feel free to come join us at the Candlekeep Frappr-map - just follow the link in my signature.

(And in the defence of the alignment-system, it may be silly, simplistic, and two-dimensional, but it can serve as a nice last resort crutch for getting into the mindset of a character.)

Hello-

Ah - thanks! Makes good sense! I was just thinking - all the welcoming that people get here - a lot of the time from the same few people - that would boost their numbers quite high!

Sadly - I should probably welcome people more often - but this time of year is crazy-busy for me (retail books) So - my free time - what little I have - is spent on the 'meat & potatoes' of Candlekeep!

Greetings,

We also welcome you to these hallowed halls. Most any tidbit of realmslore can be found within the scrolls and shelves littering Edit Note: we look forward to hearing your views on alignment. Such things amuse me to no end.

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
