I'd like to thank all of the contributors to the site and the admins that maintain the site. A lot of good original reference material. I've been reading through the site and really impressed. I'm sure my thumb will becomed ink stained before long.

He was but that wasn't my point. My point was that TSR had to come up with a in game reason to kill off some of the deities and switch the world from 1e to 2e. The whole point of the ToT's was to have a in game reason for the rule changes.

Really only Ed's material is official canon because he contract states as such unless TSR/WOTC changes it with an in game explaination. Hence the Time of Troubles. :)

Your post brings up an interesting point. Besides what is gleamed from Mr. Greenwood and the creators from their forum chats.... what of the original candlekeep published material is considered canon?
