No, it's not the title to a sequel for Elminster's Daughter... , rather the Lady K and I are now the delighted parents of a little baby girl!!! .

Baby Narna (), was born June 8th at 4:38 pm, weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long. She's perfectly healthy, and is doing well. A very tired mommy and a still ecstatic daddy, on the other hand, are starting to show signs of severe sleep deprivation. As such, I'll probably be sporadic in my visits here over the next few days.

Upon my return, I'm buying every scribe a round of Cormyr's finest brew at Candlekeep's local Inn. Now however, I'm going off to see that the Lady K gets some sleep, then I'm getting some much needed rest of my own... .

Thank you Alaundo.

I also see I've got quite the load of scrolls to unravel before I get to penning anything new . . .

You're going to get very used to that one. There's many variations on that one, and you'll get to see them all.

Lina Posted - 17 Jun 2005 : 13:08:58
Wow, where has the time gone. Last I heard Lady K. was still in the stages of pregnancy.

CONGRATULATIONS to both of you.

Alas, the Bookwyrm has been caught up in the world of Eberron his contributions here at Candlekeep are sorely missed. Mayhaps one day he will return.

The Sage Posted - 17 Jun 2005 : 02:43:59
That's right . Sorry... .

It seems like I've picked up one of the Bookwyrm's little draconic-based habits . As I recall, he always had some fun in using an uppercase "Z" for zemd .
zemd Posted - 16 Jun 2005 : 15:05:54
I never had the pleasure to talk with her... and by the way, it's zemd.
The Sage Posted - 16 Jun 2005 : 14:55:45
Thank you Zemd .

I'm not sure whether you've talked with the Lady K previously in your visits here, but I'm sure she'll appreciate your comments.
zemd Posted - 16 Jun 2005 : 14:51:53
I'd like to add my congratulations. I'm glad i returned to read this good news!
The Sage Posted - 16 Jun 2005 : 14:23:16
Hehe... you could say that .

Thanks MuadDib . We all appreciate your thoughts. One of these days though, we're going to have to play the "catch-up" game in our private discussions eh?
MuadDib Posted - 16 Jun 2005 : 09:16:39
Dearest Sage and Lady K,

Words can barely describe my joy at your great fortune. My prayers for both of you in the next while and my deepest heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the greatest door available to two people. I know in my heart you will both make fantastic parents, and while I don't know the exact refernce to her name, I think it's awesome

May God bless you and keep you both, guide you to do what's right as parents, and lead you always down the correct path. Congratulations again! 1 down, 11 to go eh?

Well met

Just fine, George, just fine. Although it's being a little tedious having to cover each page of each tome in plastic to avoid spillage damage and jam handprints

You should try the repel oopsie spell.
