Posted - 21 May 2005 : 18:07:23 Thank you W. Rupert, I am relativly a newbie. I got into p&p after palying Baldur's Gate etc. I finally started rpg:ing several months ago as a GM (I not one to back down from a chalange), and it's a blast.
My take on RP:ing is that the "fluff" is what is most important. It's not window dressing since it _is_ the world that the characters live in. We are rules light and lore heavy, thus I'm here. :-) |

Posted - 21 May 2005 : 17:56:18 Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Hehe i'm such a Waterdeep fan that i'm actually going to lure the PC's away into the wilderness and the surrounding cities in my campaign, just to buy enough time to get the upcomming City of Splendours. |
