Posted - 10 Feb 2005 : 14:52:15 Well met fellow gnomes, and non-gnomes alike! I can't believe I had never signed the curious parchment until now. I knew about the Great Library, but for some reason, I could never pull myself away from me precious gemstones long enough to stop on by, until now that is.
It appears, like the young knights thrown to the kitchen spits, that I have quite some time to acclimate to the reams of lore here, so with that, can someone point me to the archives?
Uh oh. I shouldn't have asked that, no? |

Gems more interesting than this? Really? Maybe I'm just not vain enough to be interested in gems? Oh, anyway.
Still, welcome, and enjoy your stay. |

Posted - 11 Feb 2005 : 01:41:55 Methanks, everyone. I hope to find some curious places to explore while I'm here, like I found a while back in the pages of Dragon magazine, ones scribed by Ed of the Greenwood on behalf of Elminster. Grand locales those were, aye. The Realms needs more of that.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Gemstones ye say? Hmmmm, mayhaps I could take a look? Oh I have no interest of course, these scrolls and tomes of lore herein are the real treasures, not these shiny trinkets which thee so loves. So, ahem, how about that pretty red one, perhaps just a little look, hmm? |
