Hmph woe be tide, my dear Bookwyrm, woe be tide! Enjoy your travels to the Moonshae's, may the Ffolk treat thee well. |
Bookwyrm |
Posted - 16 Jul 2004 : 07:43:07 Hrmph. And I was planing on making an anouncement tonight. Perhaps a scroll titled "Goodbye, Candlekeep" so as to get Alaundo's blood pumping for a moment.
Yes, 'tis sooth . . . I'm bound for the land of the Moonshaes (or the equivalent thereof) in a tenday. Or rather, 'tis a tenday before I head to a certain sagely college, where I may or may not have access to a portal to send me to Candlekeep. But 'tis certain I shall not be able to use the Eireann portals -- they have such a high long-distance rate.
So my time here is likely limited to a point up to Shieldmeet, though I could reappear as soon as mid-Eleasis. Rest assured, I will take some of my Candlekeep work with me, but I don't know how much I'll have time to do. The life of a sage is all too short. |

Posted - 16 Jul 2004 : 00:59:01 From the Wyrm's jaws themselves:
Arivia: You've been noticeably absent from Candlekeep recently. Bookwyrm: I've been busy. Going to Ireland with a class start of next month Bookwyrm: Got to read a boxful of books before then. |

Posted - 15 Jul 2004 : 14:03:49 I do not believe that will be much of an issue, once the Bookwyrm returns.
Don't forget that one of the "perks" of being a Master of Realmslore is the ability to delegate tasks to scribes of lesser ranking...
Why else do you think we've seen such an influx of new scribes lately. Perhaps we should employ a yugoloth or three to help regulate this "trade" in scribes...

Indeed, I heard from Bookwyrm only yesterday, he appears well. As to the explanation (for which one is certainly due ) for his absence from the library, I know not.
His work is beginning to pile high on his desk, he need not come crying to me should he find his fingers down to bone after his return
