Hail and well met! I am Moon On The Horizon Etherdell of Maztica, Waterdeep, Longsaddle, and Strixhaven, mage of the Mages 4 of the Iron Cave, and planeswalker.
I'm one of the Scribes of the Realm over on Ed Greenwood's Discord where I catalogue the answers in the Questions For Ed channel in the Forgotten Realms Wiki.
I'm also the mod of a server dedicated to cooking in DnD

Well, honestly Aja, the charm of such things actually attracts me far more than the more... I guess "polished" might be the word. One of my other favourite places is browsing the archive of the Fraternity of Shadows, or hearing the tales from Peldor.com. The rough corners honestly create a more welcoming feel, in a strange way.
The public side of my own library (still very much a work in progress) is also far more rudimentary, so I can't judge. Someone living in a glass house shouldn't throw stones or whatever it was along those lines.
Well, actually my windows are glassteel, but that is besides the point.
All this rambling is to say thank you for the warm welcome, Aja. I appreciate it. |

Seeing as how you are already familiar with both the Wiki and the Discord these halls shouldn't hold many surprises for you.
.... I mean, okay, the drapes are a bit tattered, and the cushions do have a certain strange mustiness to them, and the bottle service is terribly lacking, and there is also the giant hamster that occasionally snorts and shuffles by in nothing but bathrobe and slippers, he does take some getting used to....
but the shelves here are absolutely stuffed full of scrolls, and there still remains no better place to lose yourself in endless amounts of lore and discussion on the Realms!

I do indeed believe I shall enjoy my visits to these hallowed halls.
As an order of scribes mage, I certainly hope I can contribute something of substance back to your wonderful scribes of anything I may find on my journeys. |
