This is a re-introduction from a long time ago, assuming I ever introduced myself at all at the old Realms-list server. I used the username "The Silent Sword" at that now-defunct emailing list. I find myself increasingly re-interested in the game in the run-up and release of the 5th edition. I might actually get back into the game, assuming I can find the time! I started in the game in the mid to late 80s, at the tail end of first edition. Second edition remains my favorite edition, but 5th edition looks quite promising!
I've been lurking here at Candlekeep off and on for the last 9 months or so. The lore bundled together here at the Keep is so invaluable, even for someone who hasn't been actively playing the game for quite some time. I hope I can contribute in some small way.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
