Posted - 14 Jan 2012 : 09:53:14 Well met to you all, I'm a french fan of the Realms and I'd like to know if there's other french in Candlekeep ?
The idea is not to create a Cult of the Baguette, in which only the french forumers can discuss, I was just curious.
I'm OK to discuss in english, but be kind and don't employ words that oblige me in taking a translator ...
An other question : are you interested in the french reception of the Forgotten Realms or do you know all about it ? I could do an article to inform you, but only if there's interest.
Sorry about my english, I do my best.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Marco, traveler of the Realms |

That sad commentary is definitely worth repeating. |

Not French myself, and I only know a handful of words in that language... But don't worry about your English. We have many scribes for whom English is a second language. And we have many scribes that speak English as their only language, and yet who still haven't come close to mastering it! |

Posted - 14 Jan 2012 : 13:17:37 There is at least one other French-speaking scribe within Candlekeep, Balduran Lavidah. I've noticed that many of the Canadian scribes are also Francophone, although English is their language of preference when visiting here.
Welcome to Candlekeep, Marco Volo Spanish-named-Frenchman.
