On page 103 of the novel "The Howling Delve" it leads me to believe that the Sythillisian Empire has not been defeated and controls part of Amn. It has been awhile since I read Power of Faerun, but, I thought the Stingers ended the threat of the Ogre Mages? What am I missing? Just curious... |

I don't have my books with me at work, but my impression was that the stingers were pressing both the Amnians and the Sythillian Empire, but they hadn't wiped out the ogres or done anything that was definitive. In fact, I thought the point of that particular hook was that both sides of the last war are now presented with a common foe. As I said, though, I don't have my Power of Faerun with me at work. |
