Posted - 11 Aug 2007 : 19:03:54 I am trying to figure out what kind of theme to use with the Spell Thematics feat for a character I have been struggling with for a while.
She is a Fey'ri Wizard who has fallen in love with a Celadrin Cleric/Bard of Finder Wyvernspur, to have that loved returned. She is a blood descendant of Malcanthet (a succubus child of the demon princess was an ancestor used in her family's creation. She is of the Aerolothi clan, which has a Swan emblem. She has also taken the spell thematic feat later in career after meeting the Celadrin, and has an alignment of CG with CN tendacies.
I have been trying to think of the perfect theme for her, but I still would like some help.
The Spell Thematics feat makes your spells harder to predict and counter as well as make one spell per caster level to be caster as if you were one level higher. It alters the visual aspects of spells to fit a theme like Lightning, Spheres, or Black Dragons.
Please can you lend your comments to me, thanks.

Posted - 12 Aug 2007 : 15:13:38 Well, I also posted this on Wizard's board and got the suggestion of Swans. Which might work even with a disguise as there is a elven branch of the family like the Floshins.
I did show off the Chosen's suggestions there, while giving him the credit for his ideas. I am still curious about the thoughts that might bounce around. I still have some fine tuning of feats and with backgrounds. For both the female Fey'ri Wizard and the Male Celadrin Cleric.
Thanks. |

Posted - 11 Aug 2007 : 19:47:25 How about a burning swan - combines all themes a little and is very very close to the emblem of the fey'ri, a phoenix IIRC.
Just the first that came to my mind. |

If it is his clan, a good choice will be the swan theme.
If is his blood lineage, it could be some type of demonic theme, or sucubus theme.
If is his love, it could be something related withe the celadrin, like some "celestial" theme, or an harp theme (related with his faith in Finder).
