Posted - 04 May 2007 : 18:36:40 They've been using me more for non-FR material than FR publications (not counting my web column) in the last year or so anyway. And while I think I have a decent shot, I wouldn't say I had a great one. Many people apply for these positions and a lot of them are extrely talented. That said, I have been quite close before, so now is as good a time as any. |

Posted - 03 May 2007 : 06:30:46 Hello-
I hear ya there! However - I think I might have a few years on you too! LOL
In any case - its something I would like to work on sometime - maybe design my own website someday. :)

Posted - 03 May 2007 : 06:23:43 Pascal is still in use... though it's largely fallen out of the mainstream of programming languages nowadays.
I still like to use Pascal for basic stuff -- though, I do feel old saying that. ::smirk::

Posted - 03 May 2007 : 04:46:50 Hello-
You know - I saw the job posting news thing - but did not actually put 1 and 1 together to get 2. :)
However - I *did* ruminate the lack of proper computer knowledge!
In HS - I was a computer whiz - even attending a local 'computer-heavy' HS to learn more. But - did not keep pushing my envelope as it were - and I am not Very much behind the times with all this programming stuff! :)
Heh - Pascal anyone? LOL
