In the book , realms of the elves, Storms says to the Simbul that by transforming herself into living lightning laloch could not raise any barrier against her and thus perish

Is this true? What about a shadow shield or psonics or antimagic shield ect

What do you think?
What happend to a good old spell battle?

It's probably some derivative of lightening and raw weave energy. I think it's a cool idea and kind of neat that maybe even good old well-nigh indestructable Larloch might be vulnerable to some kind of raw magic that's barely controlled by an otherwise uncontrolled/wild Chosen.

Yeah, something like that.

Simbul has/had in second the ability to turn herself into chain lightning that was not magical, thus can peice anti-magic feilds (might even work in dead magic zones). Lightning can not be killed at best would be redirected.

Give us a page reference.

I have no idea what you mean by your last question.
