Just wanted to mention this article from Dragon this month. I really liked having some outsiders that are more specifically tied to the Forgotten Realms and various being thereabouts.

The Harmonious Choir of the Words is exactly what I would expect serving Denier (among other gods) and I really like the concept of them (and I can see them hanging around with the archons from the Tome of Magic).

The Slivers were interesting, and it would be interesting to see a Selunite PC have these as something that they could summon to aid them, especially with the Sliver's attitude, but I kind of wish I could see more specific write ups on the Shards, and how them might differ from "traditional" planetars.

The Jerul are interesting, but kind of limiting I guess, since they serve in a plane that isn't suppose to be accessed by the living. I guess someone could summon one forth, but I'm not sure why over other devils . . . then again, its an interesting concept, so I'm sure something will occur to me.

I really like the umbral glooms, but then again, I'm a sucker for shadow things with tentacles, and I really liked the illustration.

Glad you liked them Knight Errant. I imagine the Jerul might make pacts with tortured souls and those that go back on these deals would be hunted down by them back in the mortal realm or the outer planes, so perhaps not as limiting.

That sounds very interesting. I've long struggled to find appropriate outsiders for the evil churches.
