There's a little in Volo's Guide to the North, as I recall. And The North boxed set.
I don't immediately recall much else.
Ok thanks Ill check that out
Outsider of the Neverwinter Nights PC game and RAS Mitheril hall novel have you ever seen anything covering the interior of the Hottstowers in Luskan?
The section on Luskan in The North boxed set deals with the interior of the Host Tower a little, as does Lost Empires of Faerun. RAS's "Icewind Dale" trilogy also features a few tidbits about the interior of the Tower itself, as I recall.
The maps were published in FR Atlas... which prompted our DM to run some (mis)adventures there (can you imagine a Chaotic Neutral halfling fighter, who is a Waterdhavian guard civilar, running through the tower on a wizard-killing spree... well, ahem, burning spellbooks and threatening apprentices, actually ;) |

does Lords of Darkness talk about the interior? It may
LoD mainly deals with the structure of the organisation (old and new)
Anyone remember which book has alternate rules for creating magic items by using other peoples souls instead of the items creator? I remmeber one of the Candlekeeps scribes brought it up a while ago and said it would be good for the Red Wizards of Thay and it would create a moral dilhema for characters using Thay mart weapons |

Posted - 14 Feb 2007 : 20:35:52 Strange you mention this temple at this moment guy. 2 Weeks ago I used the temple too in my campaign where the characters are also in Luskan. I mentioned it as a beautiful white structure, in a sharp constrast than is enviroment. the door was magicaly altered so that it was cold to touch and in the temple it was very cold :) |

Posted - 14 Feb 2007 : 09:05:35 Volo's guide has only very littel info about the worship of the frost maiden but not so much of the palace itself. However, you will find a detailed map of Luskan in that work on page 114.
ou will find the exact same info (word for word) also in the North boxed set, Book 'Cities and Civilisation' p. 25, right column, second paragraph.
As I said - it isreally not much.... |
