In the dungeon masters book it states that an adamantium weapon has a bonus of either +1 or +2 depending on how much damage it does. Does this mean that an adamantium weapon that is non magical can be used to ignore damage reduction? For instance a vampire has a damage reduction of 15/+1. If i used an adamantium weapon would it still apply?

Cheers for that.

Spelling has never been my strong point. Now all i need is to find an adamantine greataxe for my arctic dwarf barbarian. Where did i put it.

Well adamantium blades do not exist in D&D. They are only found in the Marvel Universe.

BUt Adamantine weapons do, and YES they have a NATURAL enhancement bonus, meaning they already start out as magical, so they would get through Damage reduction.
