Posted - 30 Sep 2006 : 01:22:48 I've ran Nightmare Keep, but not as an FR adventure -- rather, as a module in RAVENLOFT. I placed the module in the Balinoks of Barovia, tailoring a great deal of the Realms-based lore in the adventure toward a RL-standard instead.
I can't really provide much in the way of assistance for using this module in the FR, however, I will say you WILL need plenty of FR sourcebooks and background lore to make this adventure more enjoyable.

Then when 3e came along and we started playing again. When I DMed, I used a LOT of the FR books to fill my campaigns for background info, maps, and the like. So I am happy I collected it over the years, but need to fill some gaps every now and then when I see the chance. |

Almost all of them.
yep, that is the one I love that module, being inside a giant lich/dungeon...and the possible "godzilla" ending
that module is one of a kind not many people know about it.. |
