HiHi.

So, anyone know where I can find more info on the region/nation of Erlkazar?

In the 2e Empires of the Shining Sea boxed set there is a region marked 'Erlkazar' on one of the maps between the Omlarandin Mountains and the High Peaks of the Southern Cloven Mountains and North of a region marked as the Plains of Pehrrifaal. There are two places named in the region - the castle of Praskallest and the 'landmark' of Five Spears Hold.

In the booklet I found under the entry for the Shadi'ar Ala-min (p130-131) tribe that they (the Shadi'ar):

1) have good relations with the lands of Erlkazar
2) are respected (and a little feared) by the people of Erlkazar
3) worship the gods of the Triad, in proximity to Erlkazar where their worship is common.

That's all I've been able to find. Am I just not looking hard enough?

Assistance much appreciated.

I suggest you download Lands of Intrigue as a free PDF download from WotC. It provides most of what we know about the land of Erlkazar -- including the two locations you mention... Praskallest and the Five Spears Hold. See here:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads

Additionally, I'd also recommend you read through Steven Schend's replies here at Candlekeep, since he was responsible for its creation and has thus, discussed Erlkazar on several occasions. As well, the FIGHTERS series novel Master of Chains by Jess Lebow features parts of Erlkazar -- specifically focusing on the Barony of Ahlarkhem. It also features some of the land's history. The first chapter of Faces of Deception also features Erlkazar.

The 2e product Lands of Intrigue details the land of Erlkazar, although the description is left a little vague. I'm pretty sure that it is available as a free download from WotC. Wooly can direct you to the link. :)
