Posted - 14 Aug 2006 : 20:19:51 I'm planning an adventure that will eventually head through the Dragon Coast region and am looking for information on the cities, sites, power players of the area, and so on. I've looked around and although I'm probably missing it I can't pinpoint a sourcebook that details that area. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance for any help. |

Anyways, Pirates of the Fallen Stars also has some lore on a number of locations along the Dragon Coast. |

All the editions of the FRCS -- 1e/2e/3e FRCS -- have lore on the Dragon Coast. As mentioned, Forgotten Realms Adventures. Cloak & Dagger and the the web enhancements for C&D:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20010327d&origin=
As well, Temptation of Elminster which features some of the history of the Dragon Coast. And Sea of Fallen Stars.

Thanks Jorkens for the information. I guess I'll have to get to digging. I have Cloak and Dagger but the Forgotten Realms Adventures or the 2ed campaign setting. Is there a good place to pick these up? Perhaps in pdf? I checked Paizo but couldn't find them.
Paizo has them both in pdf format; I got my pdf copies from there. |

Posted - 14 Aug 2006 : 20:25:03 The old Forgotten Realms Adventures book details some of the city's. The 2ed campaign setting has a good deal of information also. There's also Steven Schends articles about Westgate history. Cloak and Dagger details many power groups with a strong position in the region.
There is not to many larger blocks of information on the area; I should know as I worked my way through what I could find half a year ago. You will have to dig through numerous products and collect the tidbits you can find. |
