Specficly dragons in the region around Daggerford
Now I figure there might be Black Dragons in the Lizard Marsh, Green Dragons in the Ardeep and Misty Forests. Im strongly tempted to use a Fang dragon and put it in the Mountain range North of Laughing Hollow (Although WOTC seem to have misplaced Laughing Hollow and the Mountain range in 3ed realms)mainly as an excuse to use the Fang Dragon mini in WODQ
Can anyone think of any other places where Dragons might appear around Daggerford (Realmslore references prefered) |

One thing I wouldnt mind seeing in Dragons of Faerun is Dragon Regions ie like the Player character Region in PGTF. Something like this
Region: Sword Coast
Black Dragons: Mere of Dead Men
Green Dragons: Kyptgarden Forest
Known Dragons: Olothontor (LE Male very old Blue Dragon) Lair: Mount Araddyn, Voaraghamanthar and Waervaerendor (CE Male adult Black Dragons) Lair: Mere of Dead Men, etc |

Eric do you know of any types of Dragon (Most of the named Dragons are to powerful for the encounter Ive got planned)that live around Daggerford? (Lizard March, Ardeep Forest etc)

Not as such. The map for Wyrms of the North places Daggerford within the domains of Gauluntyr "the Thief Dragon" (Dragon #240), and possibly Lhammaruntosz "the Claws of the Coast" (Dragon #245), though. |

Since you are all on the topic of Dragons I thought I might ask something. Out of all the gaming worlds I have ever played I think Forgotten realms has always had a healthy amount of Dragons populating Faerun. It isn't over done but just right. Now, that being said. I have glanced over the list of Dragons on Candlekeep's records but unless you encounter the dragons in FR literature where else do you find some decent information concerning the Dragons of Faerun? I am aware also that there is a FR Dragons sourcebook coming out. I can't wait but know ye anything that would give me a better glimpse at the Dragons of the realms in the mean time? |

you can do it as part of the webpage
Check out WOTCs Feats/Monsters/PrC and Class index you can list them by Name, Source etc |

how about Flashburn: This ancient red dragon lives in the High
Moor region, and has used her surprisingly charismatic
personality (cha 30) to build up a cult of orcs that worship
her as a goddess. She is exceptionally persuasive (Bluff
+40), normally soft-spoken, and has a knack for hearing
people’s desires in what they say (Sense Motive +25).
This is all a façade however, and underneath she is selfish,
vicious, greedy, and everything else a proper red dragon
should be.

Edit: Had a quick look through the Dragon Database but no luck there doesnt appear to be any official Dragons in the Region (Which suprises me I would have thought at least some Dragons would have laired in the ruins of the Fallen Kingdom)
Alaundo: Any chance you can change the layout of the Dragon database so the user can list the Dragons by the various column headings ie type, Lair/Domain etc?

Little Verthie is, if I remember correctly, from one of the dragon adventures in FOR1 Draconomicon. I'd have to check later to see if that's where the reference is from. I know it's from that book; I just can't recall the specific section.
Dargoth, have you checked the the FR dragon database? |

Verdant cloud - This green wyrm lives 80 miles due
west of Myth Drannor, and is worshipped by the
population of Trenahess, a nearby village of humans on the
east bank of the River Ashaba. The villagers offer up
visitors and valuables to “Little Verthie” who defends
them from monsters and other communities.
don't remember where this info came from, I found the reference in a pile of FR notes. I am thinking wyrms of the north, but don't quote me on that. |
