Posted - 07 May 2006 : 07:03:27 Well met, fine folks of Candlekeep
It's always a pleasure - for a little bard from the Dalelands - to enter your great halls of realmslore and to perform a new jig. This time you may experience the passions and excitements, the boisterous mood and most pleasant ambience of a Comyrean tavern.
Now thou shall enjoy: "Inns of Cormyr"!
I guess Volo would be quite amused...

By the way, I am going to record this little jig with my guitar-slave-brother, a guitar-slave-friend-of-him, the drummer of our band and myself on the harpsi some day. You'll get the results for sure... ;-)

Posted - 07 May 2006 : 10:08:26 Splendid work, my friend! I especially like the change of music after a minute or so to more dwarven-like and then... the flutes. That's really, really great because it makes me imagine a little argument between these well-known races - elves and dwarves - and it is quite...inspiring :) But the whole piece really reminds of the actual atmosphere of inns. Well done! |
