So,

I am looking through the PGtF, at the new shiny updated feats and all, and I noticed that Saddleback has some very specific verbage to it.

Please read the feat, and tell me if I am correct on this, but by my reading, it allows for the taking of 10 on ride checks in combat?

among other things yes :), so if you have the mounted combat feat your mounts ac is effectively 10+ride skill (or you may roll)
