Is it just me or did I read somewhere that the Faerunian settlements in Maztica where banished back to Faerun by the Maztican gods?
Im sure I read it somewhere but Im damned if I can remember where |

I don't know much about Maztica,except what was in the novels. Is Lolth still active there,it is said the she changed alot of poeple into monsters
while the other gods battled. |

I don't recall such a passage. Maybe you are thinking of the Moonsheas? The Earthmother, when she was a seperate deity from Chauntea, did that but I don't recall any such passage for Maztica, especially since Helm is still worshipped there. |
