shandril was given a ring by the simbul to wisk her and narm to safty in the 1st spellfire novel, why did she not use it? also a wall of force was cast by elminster wich deflected her spellfire when he tested her powers(in the 1st novel to) why did the sistes not use this in hand of fire when she lost control? |

First, why she not use the ring is perhaps due to her spellfire which absorbs magic and her newfound ability might absorb magic from the magic ring. For Shandril tend to absorb the magic from enchanted items anyway. Second, the Wall of Force was casted by a Zhentish lady wizard not elminister and it was mentioned in the second novel. Third, powerful the Seven Sisters may be, but they have a limited capacity for holding spells. |
