Posted - 08 Mar 2003 : 20:26:37 I wonder how many players out there like the 3rd edition rules. since this is Candlekeep I won't ask the obvious question, Forgotten Realms vs Greyhawk. Just on the rules to any one who has played both sets which is best? My personal opinion 2nd edition hands down. I started out playing D&D from the red boxed set I thought that could never be improved on but when the second edition came out Ihad to eat my own words, so I'm not closed minded I just think the 2nd edition is simpler & easier to play . |

Nevertheless let it be known that my personal preference is Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition.
