If anyone has this issue of Dragon, I was thinking of how to incorporate these articles into the Realms. It may seen pretty obvious, but I can see a paladin devoted to Amaunatar taking the substitution levels for a paladin of light, and I can see a Sun Soul Monk taking the substitution levels of Illuminated Monk.
I can definately see a ranger worshiper of Selune taking substitution levels of Moon Warded Ranger, and they work rather well for that, considering it makes the ranger a better hunter under the moon. Lunar rouge would make for an interesting Selunite worshiper as well.
If anyone else has this issue, I'd be interested to hear what you thought of the articles, and how to use them in the Realms. |

Regarding this months dragon I think most of it would fit into the realms well.I think that the lore and mechanics in the sun article would make excellent additional background information for a cleric and or sect dedicated to Lathander. The morning lord could use any or all of the information in this article as part of his dogma in the realms. And the same can be said for the moon article and Selune. It is possible that these two deities could be used to represent the two oldest lost gods of the realms. I refer to this group as the ancients in my realms champagne. They are: Maram of the Great Spear, Haask the Voice of Hargut, Tyranthraxus the Flamed One, Borem of the Lake of Boiling Mud, Camnod the Unseen, and two whose names have been forgotten. I also thought that the master astrologer class was excellent in this issue you could use that to represent someone like the profit Aluando of candle keep in the realms.
