So, do you think the four beloved hobbits would survive in Toril. What about Elrond, Arwen, Galadriel, Aragorn, Borimir, the Ents (Treebeard), or anyone else in the gang? |

In all truth...if given a real chance (and they were better prepared for defending themselves) I think the hobbits might have a chance to survive. but as they currently were, I don't think they'd last too long.
As for the elves and what not, I think they easily could. They are all quite capable of adapting to a change in enviornment. |

I would have said yes on the elves and human but the hobbits well Sam I don't think so. Merry and Pippin ecame independant but noneof them are fighters |

They may survive trying to sneak around but they would not last as wizards or fighters, they relied pretty much on Aragorn and the others for protection. |

I don't know all, but I do know Tolkien kinda invented the fact that magic isn't endless and does indeed comes with a price, which fact made (stories, books about) magic more pleasant to use alltogether.

How does magic work there? And for being powerful, What those people are for Middle Earth is what, for example, Elminster is to Faerūn.
I do not know if Tolkien has specified the way magic works in Middle Earth, but it comes not without price I recon. |

Magic is the main difference.
They would all have a lot of adjusting to do
The Hobbits would be fine as long as they kept their noses out of Wizards business. They would not be prepared for a Magic Missile let alone a Fireball!
Gandalf,Galadrial,and Elrond all had very close ties to the gods of Middle-Earth. That would be the first hurdle...Then the DM would have to decide as to whether magic works the same or not. If it did all three of them would be powerfull indeed. And without the restrictions of when and how they are allowed to use magic they could be of great help to Evermeet and/or Evereska. Not to mention that those three carry the elven rings of power as well.
The Humans would be fine...Humans adapt always have always will.
