I have looked through my sourcebooks to find info about the group referred to in the Lands of Intrigue boxed set as the Heralds. For instance, the book says that this person is the Heralds representative in this location. Are these the same Heralds who control Heralds Holdfast in the Silver Marches? |

Posted - 25 Nov 2005 : 04:30:52 Thanks for the tidbit about the suspected name change for "Power of Faerun" THO . It's good to see you back BTW...
I must say though, I preferred the older title .

They are the High Heralds, a splinter group of the Harpers.
Ed's Code of the Harpers tome has a full section on them.

Posted - 23 Nov 2005 : 13:15:20 I certainly believe that the Heralds man the Herald's Holdfast, it is a fortified library of sorts and runned by one of the five Heralds in western Faerun, Old Night is the leader of this fort. Old night is just a nickname, each of the five have nicknames and are called by their nicknames, I remembered seeing three more leaders's nicknames, but can't recall right now. |
